By using DevLingo, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The Service

DevLingo provides AI-powered English learning tools for developers. The service includes a macOS application and cloud backend for text lookup, word book storage, and syncing.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to use DevLingo.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the AI prompts or system logic.
• Abuse the API or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
• Share your account with others.

Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through the Mac App Store. You can cancel at any time. Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

AI-Generated Content

Learning content is generated by AI (Claude by Anthropic). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. DevLingo is a learning aid, not a replacement for professional language instruction.

Intellectual Property

DevLingo and its original content are owned by DevLingo. Your word book data belongs to you.

Limitation of Liability

DevLingo is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of DevLingo after changes means you accept the new terms.
