Privacy Policy

What We Collect

DevLingo collects only the data necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Email address (for authentication).
• Lookup data: Text you look up is sent to our API to generate learning cards. We cache results to improve performance but do not use your lookup data for training AI models.
• Word book: Words you save are stored locally on your device and, if you opt in, synced to our servers for cross-device access.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous usage statistics (lookup counts, feature usage) to improve the product.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your screen content, clipboard, or any text beyond what you explicitly select and look up.
• We do not track your browsing history or app usage outside of DevLingo.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Cloudflare's global infrastructure (D1 database and KV store). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude API): Your lookup text is processed by Claude to generate learning content. Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• Resend: Email delivery for magic links. Resend Privacy Policy.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. This will remove all your data from our servers. Local data on your device can be removed by uninstalling the app.
